The extensive process of correcting your paint begins by removing anything that is on the paint. A citrus degreaser strips the old wax, insects, etc from the paint. Next the paint is decontaminated using a 2 step system and all trim, emblems, and gaps are taped off to prevent compound splatter and damage. The paint is then polished to high gloss using between 3 and 5 steps depending on the severity of the paint. Finally the paint is cleaned using a special product to remove polishing oils and leave a clear, glossy finish for the final protection to bond to. You then have the option of having the paint protected with a high quality wax, sealant or paint coating depending on your preference.
